yes. dont know the motivations behind, but it looks like if the guys
are trying to monkey git. that can't succeed and just irritate users
of current apps having svn hooks.

It was very frustrating having the .svn directories scattered all over
the tree. Especially if you use git and svn in one tree.
So I'm happy they finally saw the light.
