Here's a quick question for the devs: How attached are we to our current branding scheme? Specifically, would anyone be open to modifying how we refer to LyX?
When I opened up LyX today and stared at "LyX: The Document Processor," for probably the 50,000th time, I found myself thinking it was kind of dull. Would there be any interest in adding some sort of a short slogan? For example, I thought it might be kind of nice, if instead of "The Document Processor" it said something like: Write Beautifully It seems that this is what LyX is designed to do. From the output to the experience, using LyX is a beautiful experience. (I also checked at the USPTO, and Write Beautifully happens to be available.) We don't necessarily have to use "Write Beautifully," but I do think it would be nice to modify how we promote and brand LyX. Any thoughts? Cheers, Rob
