OK, it would be nice to be able to dynamically generate those images. Having to make a lot of screenshots would make a release much more annoying. > > + Links to documentation (from Help menu) > > x No RSS > > ? OK, even if the Debian stable guys won't be happy to read "Hey! LyX 12.99.13 is out!" while their distro offers LyX 1.6.7 :) > > ? Cheers Let's see... - Instant preview - XY-Pic - CAS integration - Auto-backup - Shortcut customization - XHTML & OpenOffice export - Import from OpenOffice/MS Office - Version control - ERT insets - View source - Include another document - Advanced search - Document comparison - TOC - Include various formats of file - Spell checker - Thesaurus - LaTeX preamble - Math macros - Mascot meaning - Dia integration - "There's a user list!" - "Contribute!" These are the most interesting hidden (or less hidden) things for my everyday use of LyX. But I'm sure there's a hidden wiki page somewhere which explains how LyX can make you a coffee. Other things like "You can make a presentation with LyX" should automatically become better known if we put it clearly in the start page. venom00 P.S. Why don't we put an easter egg in LyX? For instance: if you write "Word is better than LyX" something funny happen :P
