Wouldn't this be confusing for the user that suddenly 2.0/2.1/2.2
have the same file format. So he can easily upgrade. He is used to
having a stable file format only during the maintenance cycle.
We just need to communicate very loudly about this versioning change. I
guess the 2.0 anouncement is the best way to do that. So we need to get
an agreement before 2.0 is out :-)
