i was hoping to create one xhtml page with all manuals included (see 
MergedManuals)
and put it into wiki/web. however there are untrivial problems to solve before
this can go out so i scratched that idea.

if we look only on particular manuals only, 1.6 pdf files are already on wiki
and create & upload files for 2.0 is piece of cake. for xhtml there is problem
with many images from instant preview and put them directly to web would be 
better
than through svn.

in longer term it would be good if the task are automatized by some scripts
for manuals and doxygen generation so nothing more tahn "make" is needed.
