are you able to test current status? months ago i had private discussion with one kernel dev, who claimed those issues got fixed by added heuristics in 2.6.31 but the anonymous in #6587 claimed that 2.6.31-19-generic-#56-Ubuntu still shows this problem. of course i would be happy to remove all workarounding stuff and let previous version of backuping. pavel
