If I understand correctly, LyX cannot (or doesn't want to) automatically configure the pipes. Wouldn't it be better if the 'single instance' tooltip suggested to configure the pipes for the feature to work? As it is, from a user point of view it's strange that checking the option has no effect on LyX. Regards Liviu
