The way I see it, clustering all 'standard' items into a submenu would
be a reasonable compromise: it would make those items reasonably
easily accessible and would avoid cluttering the inset-specific
c-menu.

As for the tabular items themselves, personally I would prefer that it
stays as it is. Putting various items into submenus would, as Pavel
suggests, make it less useful.
