This happens because of the format change of the languages file. You have compiled the new parser code but not the new language file. It depends on your build setup how to solve that. I propose to start over: * a clean checkout * run ./autogen.sh and configure * compile and install You cannot use the beta1 install directory with svn binary and vice versa. > I have both enchant and Aspell in the drop menu.
