I've sent a note to JMarc asking a few questions. Once I'm absolutely
sure what I need to do, then it will be fairly quick.
One other issue, by the way, which maybe isn't essential for beta1: I've
written the python for the LFUN and preferences conversion routines,
mostly, anyway. What we lack at this point is the C++ part of it: The
part that looks for a format number, like in TextClass.cpp, and then
launches prefs2prefs if necessary, etc. I'd much appreciate it if
someone who understands how all that works could do this part.
The preferences part (as opposed to the LFUN) part still needs minor
work on the python side....
