I think I did this in the course of doing math as images. At least, the
filename is accessible from inside LyX. I'm not sure what else the bug

remebebr whats the status.

There are a couple patches on the bug report. The script really just
needs some polish to degrade gracefully with multiple bibliographies, etc.
