sending some proof-of-concept code of the whole stuff you are playing with could save you lot of frustration in case you are doing something wrong in the architecture part... from what i understood your petty project is quite big and find some basic design problems of 100k patch could probably mean rewriting 75k of it ... ;) sorry if i'm repeating the same, but my led control is blinking... even the more lyx-experienced people had hard time to defend their code here ;) pavel
