I have been using lyx for a while to produce math documents. I really
like the way it works and am quite happy with it.

Recently I started a blog (http://mth49601spring2010.wordpress.com/)
to post lecture notes for a course I am giving. I chose wordpress
because they have some latex support, but their online editor is not
so nice. I discovered a python script
(http://lucatrevisan.wordpress.com/latex-to-wordpress/) that converts
latex to html with wordpress latex markup. So my current workflow is
lyx -> latex -> wordpress.

I imagine that it would be easy to implement the script within lyx to
avoid the middle step. This would be quite useful for math bloggers
(although I guess many others just use latex and aren't as allergic to
the command line as I am).

If I had a good idea how to do this I would, but I am not a programer
and must resist being drawn into such projects as they keep me from
writing lectures, etc.

Thanks for all the great work producing lyx!

Sincerely,

Jeff Schenker
