Yes. First since MiKTeX 2.8 (about 2 months old) it is by default included. So I would wait for at least one year until using this as default. Besides this, everybody prefers its own font. Currently we default to LaTeX's default which is the best solution. When the user don't like the font, he can test out the other fonts and save the one he find most suitable as document default.
In my opinion we should leave it as it is. regards Uwe
