the solution is already there, why not put it immediately in the new

This is an emergency release, to enable Snow Leopard users to use LyX at all.
The 1.6.5svn branch still needs some testing and polishing before it will be
released as 1.6.5.

now I have a test drive with snow leopard 10.6.2. I'm able to reproduce the
problem with lyx-1.6.4. What can I do to help solving this issue?
I have no problem to build a LyX binary from 1.6.5svn.
