Manual setup of a second/third HTML export chain is of course possible and a
viable option for the power user.

However, for the uninitiated Debian/Ubuntu user,

  apt-get remove elyxer

is far more easy than digging in the LyX for the way to configure a new
converter and in the htlatex (or elyxer) manual for the required
settings and to work with the un-intuitive format and converter setup
dialogues.
