Your data is still there. Simply load the document in a text editor and change all occurrences of \ce to \Ce (i.e., capitalize the 'c'). Then reload the document in LyX and you are done. However, if you already saved the file with 1.6.4, the formatting may have been indeed lost. -- Enrico
