Without adding too much thought to this subject I suspect that lyx2lyx is not
the right place for this code in the sense that this is not related with a
file format update. This seems more like an issue for the latex exporter.
Technically it's not a file format update.. that's why it was allowed to
enter 1.6.x. However, maybe Juergen might want to consider this problem
in the future and to not allow this kind of new feature.
