i dont think you will hear anything new - the basic issue stands
exactly the same as in the begining:
it is wrong idea to produce html output by parsing .lyx native format
and it would be pita to adjust or check the script for every
fileformat change we do - now this pita is yours, once we
officially include elyxer and you disappear after two or three
years the pita is ours :)
Still, we will always have the option to remove it at this point... And
there's always lyx2lyx... For example tex2lyx stayed with an older
format for a year or two IIRC. Anyway, there is a lot of scripts in
scripts/ and for example cvs2lyx.py has the very same issue as eLyXer so
I don't think we should discriminate it.
IOW, I vote for integration. This subject has been debated for much too
longer than necessary.
