hi Rob, * correct me if i'm wrong but as i understand your aim is in short to have 1. index cards on corkboard 2. outline of the document with easy drag and drop the second part is intended to be done in corkboard too? what would be the advantages over the current outliner when drag&drop feature is added? * if its easy to cut it into parts it may be better to split the work in two independent patches rather than mixing corkboard index cards and outliner issues it into one big patch? it will also focus the work to finish one thing properly and then start another one... * those index cards are supposed to be viewable only inside of the corkboard or they are intended to be normal insets inside editing window? * i dont see any code related to the actual moving of the document parts and i'm bit wondering how you want to implement it through LFUN_OUTLINE_DRAGMOVE, ie how to code the actual movements through the parameters... few others glitches - 2 empty lines inbeween two functions. - some files miss usual lyx header (sorry for being paranoid - where from came the pictures? - as we use gpl license we shouldn't use bitmaps shipped with eg scrivener ;) pavel
