in the mailling i'm used to read this doesn't happen often. but from their
focus i suspect most poeple would use some terminal clients like mutt or pine
which are perfectly adjusted for mailinglist traffic...

of course that would be nightmare. as i wrote before, it is not big problem for
me. it was just a side note, spend your time rather on lyx bug fixing then 
fixing
thunderbird... :)
