I tried to have a look at what the problem is with scons, however, I see in INSTALL.scons that python >= 2.6.0 and scons >= 1.1.0 are required. Debian is only offering python 2.5.2 (even debian testing has only python 2.5.4) and scons 1.0.0, so I am unable to try to reproduce the problem. Sorry. -- Enrico
