Sure: Write a new parser in python, and then have it do everything LyX

Why re-write LyX in python?
Exactly my point of view. python is fine and good and maybe easier than
C++, but that does not mean C++ is so much complicated. I am personally
much more proficient with C++ than with Python and I _know_ LyX
structure very well. So, as Richard, I am 100% sure that having correct
HTML support within LyX is something that we can do very quickly and
much quicker than in python. The only real downside is ERT but ERT is
not something that is LateX specific. If HTML was the target format, you
could very well use HTML ERT...
I'm inclined to think that, if we go to three, then that will just
make abstraction necessary that ought to have been done anyway.
Me too. And I am thinking of Rest too...

PS: Yes, I know, I'd better sleep than participating to a discussion on
HTML so early in the morning but I have a guy here that won't let me
sleep :-/
