Hello,

I usually work with ToC window detached from document. It seems it is alway above the main Lyx window. Would it be possible to add an option to have the toc window behind the main, when focus is on the main window ? The present behavior is ok with large screen but it is a pain on small screen of netbooks.

(Serious question): The dock widget is specially useful when working in fullscreen mode on a small screen, I truly wonder why you choose to having the panel detached?
As Vincent said, you can use a shortcut to hide/show the toc panel.

Abdel.

Hello Abdel,
I like to have the maximum of text displayed when typing, and the toc at large width so it is readable, when I want to remind the structure. With both displayed, I can read only Chapitre 1, Chapitre 2, Section etc. which is not very useful. And for the shortcut to hide/show the toc, I did not find it ? Clicking on the button Display/hide toc in the toolbar is actually OK to solve my pb with the mouse, but Alt+3 does not seem to be functioning under Windows (at least with a French keyboard) and I did not find the shortcut in the cua either, as I said to Vincent. To which function ought it to be associated ?
