The LyX code looked weird to me:
\begin_inset Formula \[
\sum_{\mathclap{\substack{0<k<1000\\
\\k\,\in\,\mathbb{N}}
}}^{n}k^{-2}\]
What with the double slash in \\k. But if you confirm it is correct
then it must be a parsing error.
