I'd love to get rid of bugzilla anyway... it is a superhassle to upgrade...

Is it practical to stop using bugzilla if we already have many references to issues in bugzilla, or to changesets or whatever?

I think this was asked elsewhere by someone else, but I haven't seen an answer yet so I'm repeatign the queistion.

I do know that a few wiki pages refer to issues in bugzilla, but it's probably not that many pages. Do we have such references in the source code?

What will we lose if the old bug numbers no longer work? Will it mean that old release notes will refer to invalid numbers/links?

Even if we just use the forge for repo and source tracker (bug, wiki, web elsewere) I think it is still worth it.

I agree that it's ok using a separate server/service for e.g.. the repository.
