Have access to our raw svn/git data to host it else where (but this is probably moot with git). Have access to our bug database data to do whatever we want with it. I dislike dealing with people with terms like "Terms and Conditions of Use". SourceForge.net. SourceForge, Inc.. 2000-08-15. http://sourceforge.net/tos/tos.php. Retrieved on 2008-02-22. "By submitting, posting or displaying Content on or through SourceForge.net, you grant Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, fully sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, create derivative works from, publish, perform, display, rent, resell and distribute such Content (in whole or part) on SourceForge.net and incorporate Content in other works, in any form, media, or technology developed by Company, though Company is not required to incorporate Feedback into any Company products or services. Company reserves the right to syndicate Content submitted, posted or displayed by you on or through SourceForge.net and use that Content in connection with any service offered by Company." It may not mean much, but I do not like this kind of stance and it makes me nervous. Why do you prefer sf.net to other forges, actually? > And sorry if you think I am forcing the solution, I am not, but I belive > action must be taken soon. I am not sleeping well at night thinking > about aussie. I am all for switching to a forge. My constraints would be - as complete as possible freedom for getting our data (wiki, files, svn/git, bugs) back if we want to - be able to point our www.lyx.org address to the new web space and hopefully to keep the urls of our wiki up and running - of course, reliability. I took a look at sf.net and problems _may_ be: - cannot import bugzilla database to tracker - non developers cannot attach patches/files to bugs http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=200001&aid=2568036&group_id=1)! - no pmwiki by default
