for example i would like to hear how you directly commit to the main repository - some _one_ command equivalent to svn ci. (i mean this question sincerely - this was one of the things which kept me away from adding support of git into lyx VCS support. i finally came to the conclusion that there is such thing you can call git model, which is philosophically different. but if you provide me counterexample i'm happy to learn.) pavel
