Instead of doing this on a per dialog basis, I think we need a global
preference (in the prefs dialog) with three radio button:
* locale aware sorting
* case sensitive sorting (non locale aware)
* case insensitive sorting (non locale aware)
Then we could get rid of the new case insensitive check box in the ref
dialog.
