please do i misunderstand something about inset creation or do we have buggy implementation of inset creation with instant preview? from my digging into http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5626 it looks like that we create new eg. external inset (LFUN_INSET_INSERT), but before we add it to the paragraph we call the whole preload machinery inside the createInset which in turns try to validate the whole buffer to get required packages. but because the inset is not yet there, the we dont get needed ones for the inset and preview fails. pavel
