This is where we can define icons for user-defined > commands. Hm user-defined stuff in /usr sounds like a bad idea to me but I guess this is only a missunderstanding of the idea on my side. So I searched and found lib/doc/LFUNs.lyx and it still sounds like users should modify files within /usr. IMHO the configuration file belongs to /etc/lyx/foo.def for the images I'm not sure.
