Maybe you are right. I simply didn't find a way for having a #define transferred in the .pc files by simply acting on qmake.conf and didn't want to have a post-install patch. I think it's now time to try to directly patch the code that generates the .pc files.
Looking at the mac code would probably be a good start. JMarc
