Why would this be an advantage?

Because they are not of interest for average users. They are designed to explain the things that are
mentioned in the UserGuide in detail including needed TeX code commands for specials formats. Every
manual is designed to be its own (ready to print) book, includinng a TOC, index, bibliography.
Concatenate them wouldn't be an advantage, you then only get a 350 page beast that is not
maintainable and also not usefule to find the infos you are searching for as you then have e.g. 2-3
different places describing something about graphics.

See above. Nevertheless the UserGuide is a kind of master document, it refers to the other
documents. When you want to go deeper into a topic, open the referred manual - that are only about 3
clicks.
