For the above, I used the new Qt 4.4.2 (rc2 was against qt441)
Sorry, my fault, everything builds fine with latest Qt 4.4.2 and Qt
4.4.3 on Mac.
I do not understand why, but I was told before, and I forgot:
One needs to delete *.la from /path/to/qt-4.4-install/lib/ after
compiling Qt !!!
