Why do you ask? Nothing is wrong, MiKTeX is just an alternative for TeXLive. It is more user friendly than TeXLive with it's package manager and the install missing packages on the fly feature.
TeXlive 2008 has a package manager too. I do not know the difference between the two
distributions now. JMarc
