what i see now we could do:
1. some better advertisment of lmodern usage. i'm using lyx for years and
without
Will i won't be aware about this.
2. i wanted to setup lmodern as default at least for me, but ouch, we don't have
such setting in environment preferences (not document). maybe we could add
it too?
Lyx 1.6 lets you set such a personal default in the document settings:
* Make a document
* use the menu Document->Settings->Fonts
* Set the Roman font, Sans serif font and Typewriter font to "Latin modern".
* Use the button "Save as Document Defaults".
New documents will now be made with the "Latin Modern" font unless
you change them explicitly.
You can also achieve this by editing the default template.
File->New actually uses a template document, just like "File->New from
Template".
This file is .lyx/templates/defaults.lyx. You can change it if you want
File->New to
come up with something other than the usual blank article.
3. more info in userguide about the difference between cm x lm.
That'd be nice.
