In a footnote, hitting "Ctrl-E" causes the textcolor and size to be 
set as well. These are the color and size defined for the InsetLayout, 
but for some reason those are being picked up also as the output font

But here's the puzzling thing: If you select something and then hit 
Crtl-E, it works correctly.
