Note, however, that all documentation needed to be rewritten in such a case (as long as we do not have a Menu Inset Info). Also, we should not follow our intuition alone, but some Human Interface Guideline. The current menu structure follows the KDE HIG, which is probably why first and foremost the Mac users find it irritating (same as Linux users, for instance, would find a Mac-like menu structure "strange").
