It is possible to edit the bundled files with Richard's approach, this has nothing to do with session. In Richard's approach, there is this external file chapter2/figure.png, and a corresponding filename.lyxdir/figure/figure_2.png. <Quote> The problem is that there are two visible copies of the same file, the external one and the bundled one.
