Dear all,
I would want to suggest a (what I would think) small improvement to the
release procedure.
Would it not make more sense to announce new stable/rc releases to the
users and announcement lists AFTER the major binary installers are
available (and the website updated)?
I think this would overall make a more professional appearance, plus
users can try the new version right after they got the email telling
them about all the great news (instead of having to remember to come
back in a few days...).
Has this been talked about before?
