Again I think that this was an honest mistake too. :-)
Yes the alpha1 release was a mistake since svn was tagged as alpha1 for a week so I thought I could
build an installer for it. I was btw. requested by translators and testers to offer a Windows
installer for every alpha and bete release. The 1.5 development has shown that these versions help
us to spot problems and bugs early enough to fix them for the stable release.
Alpha2 was correctly tagged and I got the permission from José and JMarc to announce an installer
for it for testing purposes.
PS: Unless someone is opposed, I intend that the next release be the
first beta.
