I just created a couple more screencasts. Since they are intended more
for a general audience than for existing LyX users, I copied the
screencasts page from wiki.lyx.org to here, on the main LyX site:
http://www.lyx.org/Screencasts
I think this is an improvement, since a graphic designer I spoke with
said it is a bit jarring to click on a link from the main site that says
"screencasts" and to be taken to a different site with a totally
different look and feel.
Maybe if more screencasts are made as tutorials to LyX users, then we
should have two screencast pages, one for visitors to the site who want
to check out a demo of what LyX is like, and one for existing LyX users
who want to learn specific features. However, as a temporary measure, to
avoid redundancy, maybe the page http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/Screencasts
should be removed. Any thoughts?
