Leaving the server where it is may not be an option in the long term.

We should at least collect information about alternatives.

I have no clue. We will most likely get a set of completely new policies
soonish, and extrapolating the current status of "the other side" will 
possibly not allow any more any external hardware either at the current
location nor in my office.
