So we have this yes/no ratio:
Sf dedibox no change

So to leave lyx.org where it is, has the highest ration, but is much more controverse than
dedibox/etc (like for example Richard's proposal). SourceForge is not an option according to the vote.
So what we should do now is to decide between
- an external host where we have direct access to the server support
- new hardware for the existing lyx.org server and improvements
Every server can go down, so I think the most important thing is to have either physical access to
it or to be able to phone support people that can manually restart the server if necessary. We
should also take care of backups. When we decide for a new host, this must be assures.
When we vote to leave lyx.org at trolltech, we should collect money for new hardware at least a new
disk for backup and to have more space. It is also important that we can phone someone at trolltech
who has physical access to restart the server or do something else if needed. André, when we leave
lyx.org at trolltech, could we relocate it to the office in your hometown for physical access?
To come a step closer with this important issue and to make everybody happy, please discuss the two
options. We could vote about them if necessary.
