I have not followed the discussions regarding the new site, but I can say that the end result is impressive, much better than the old version of the site. I also found it a good idea to provide Wikipedia links for WYSIWYM, WYSIWYG and TeX. On this point I have a couple suggestions. Since LyX primarily uses LaTeX (packages), while TeX is only a backend, the Home page might also link to the LaTeX article on Wikipedia. Also, personally I find the LaTeX article much more persuading to a new-comer. Second would be to actually make a link to the LyX article. People always (at least I do so) like to instantly see different views of the "topic" presented, and the NPOV of Wikipedia is often well accepted and appreciated. The LyX article might rapidly re-assure a new-comer that LyX is something serious. (This might also mean that the Wikipedia article would need a bit polished.) Best regards, Liviu
