OK I will either download the CVS version or update my patch to work with
Pspell .11 I didn't expect the original patch to work with Pspell .11 as
some things changes from Pspell .10 to .11

I take it you meant aspell and not ispell.  Yes there are other
dictionaries available, but I do not support them.  Please go to
http://aspell.sourceforge.net/ and see the section Alternate Dictionary
Package.  Also the next version of Red Hat will use Aspell instead of
Ispell and thus has a number of Alternate languages dictionaries
available in rpm format.
