No, and I didn't mean to imply that it did. But it has become increasingly
obvious that I just won't have the time to develop the skills I need to do
it myself, and I don't want my being maintainer to get in the way of someone
else doing it. My main point, though, was that Jason (or Jens or Chris or
anyone else) shouldn't feel like they're stepping on my toes just because
I'm reluctant to use this Qt patch for this reason.

Well, I manage to get the binaries out and have learned enough to avoid the
stupid mistakes I made when I first took over from Ronald. And I'm happy to
continue to do what I've been doing. In any case, I intend to continue to
help out in ways I can with testing patches and the like.
