this does not generally solve the problem. on other platform you don't
get the menu at all. it has already been requested to make some indication
how to get back but currently i don't see good solution.
OK, but if you *have* the menu there should preferably be a visual clue.
A different color/font scheme would of course also give a good full- screen indication (perhaps overkill, but still ;-) Naturally a user could reset this, but then he/she is likely to be aware of fullscreen editing.

there has been also some reports about focusing problems when going back
from fullscreen on mac. do you experience this?
No in my (quite extensive) use it has worked absolutely flawlessly. (However I have not been using any larger documents, so I really can't tell about any speed lags.)
