Having a separate pane for fullscreen would (I guess) also leave room
to define a different colour and font scheme for the fullscreen
editing if such a feature would be implemented in the future.
Btw my thanks for today's excellent implementation. As someone wrote
it surely makes Word's "fullscreeen editing" appear like a joke. And
the hidden menu on Mac is truly awesome.
I also found a small glitch: There should be a visual clue in the menu
when you are in fullscreen. For example a checkmark in front of the
Fullscreen menu entry (the same indication as you have for the active
document). Is this trivial or should I post a bugzilla entry?
