Just tried it. It is really unbearable. I strongly suggest to
revert the patch.
i have no opinion about the cursor position after normal resize and i guess
only forcing update will do the job without changing the cursor.
OK, therefore I removed this "feature".
anyway, the patch is no more there, Abdel made some overhaul meantime.
what i understand now, we need
1. update after resize without cursor change
2. the same after fullscreen toggle + cursor updates wrt the problems
of the cursor problems reported by Bennett
This is what we should have now, please verify.

PS: by the way Pavel, I've cloned the git repository you created. I
played a bit with it and I must say that the gitk history browsing is
bloody impressive, the speed too. It seems that the msysgit guys managed
to bring git-svn so I might start to work with this from now on ;-)
